Consultations for parents & babies – in person or online
You are always welcome to visit me for consultations, either at the clinic in Aarhus or Copenhagen (Denmark) or online from anywhere in the world.
During consultations, we first talk about your child’s history. I will observe your child moving around and perform a physical examination on your child (or help you do it for me if it’s an online consultations). I will then show you individualized exercises that you can do with your child at home. If necessary, I will also provide manual therapy to supplement the exercises. You are welcome to take photos and videos of the exercises I demonstrate during the consultation.
Referral and reimbursement
Please note that I work as private health care practitioner, which means that you cannot use (and do not need) a referral from your doctor. If you are a member of Sygeforsikringen Danmark, you can receive reimbursement according to current reimbursement rules.

How do online consultations work?
If you have booked an online consultation, use the link provided in your booking confirmation. Shortly before the online appointment, you log in via the link in the email to establish a secured secured connection. Of course, it’s an advantage if you’re somewhere with a good internet connection. I need to be able to see your baby, so please have your computer or phone in a place where I can easily observe your baby. If you’re not sure how, I’ll guide you when we’re connected.
The consultation is similar to a physical consultation, except that you are my hands in the examination (I guide you) and I show you the different exercises on my doll. You are welcome to film the consultation for your own use, but due to GDPR rules, I cannot send you a recording of the consultation.
Lectures and presentations for pediatric professionals
In addition to my daily work with clinical pediatric physiotherapy and Instagram, I am also happy to give lectures and presentation on pediatric physiotherapy topics.
My vision is that my lectures and courses should increase the understanding and practical skills of the recipients and provide a basis for dialog and reflection. It is important to me to translate complex theory into easy-to-use practice so that the recipient can immediately apply the new knowledge, whether they are private individuals or professionals.
I am happy to tailor pediatric content to you. The training can be anything from a short presentation (e.g. an after-work meeting) to a multi-day course where you or I plan the practical aspects.
Feel free to contact me at maria@develobaby.com, if you would like to learn more.
